In short: Re-Build keeps everything on your own computer. No account, no ads, no tracking — and nothing you enter is ever sent anywhere.
What we collect
Nothing. Re-Build does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking of any kind.
Where your data lives
Everything you enter — your resume content, saved resumes, templates, themes, and settings — is stored only on your own device, in your Documents\Re-Build folder. The app runs entirely offline; none of it reaches the developer or any third party.
No AI, no cloud services
Re-Build contains no artificial intelligence features and makes no calls to any online service. Your resume content is never uploaded, analyzed, or used to train anything.
Files you export
Resumes you export as Word (.docx) or PDF are saved to the location you choose on your device. They are never uploaded or copied anywhere else.
Uninstalling
Uninstalling Re-Build does not delete your saved data. You remain in control: to remove it, simply delete the Documents\Re-Build folder yourself.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date above.
